I will go along with Jack on this subject, even though I tend
toward libertarian views. I think gas should cost $2.00 to $3.00
a gallon, and the money be spent on the infrastructure (roads,
bridges, and the environment impacted by driving). I am not
opposed to driving, I just believe in user fees as opposed to
spreading the cost over all citizens. And it would cost me
I just made a 1600 mile trip on personal business, that I
could'nt concieve of with our present public transportation.
But if the option came up on the ballot, I would vote for
it and pay the bill when I needed to use that much gas.
