In light of the proposed dumps at Needles, California I'm researching radioactive waste dumps. I'm intrested in any statistics which demonstrate the extent to which other dumps have contaminated near by water supplies (especially ground water) as well as the health consequences they have had on surrounding human and animal populations. Also I'd be intrested in knowing approx. how much of U.S. ground water supplies are contaminated. Thank You please email any relevant information to my email account: laurag@lightning.Berkeley.EDU
