Well, i'm not sure what Corey means when he says he did "research" into Coors, unless he meant asking some guy at Coors. I spent 5 minutes getting info from RTKNET, which holds the EPA's Toxics Release Inventory online, and got Coors' _reported_ releases of pollutants for 1987-89. The information is posted as the following 3 responses, arranged by year, and including companies which are wholly owned by Coors. Note the decrease in direct pollution of the Little Thompson River after 1987, when Coors was hauled into court for violations of the Clean Water Act. (The sentence for those violations, contributing to a river cleanup effort in Colorado, was used by Coors as a marketing tool: kind of like saying you care about the infrastructure of this country and pointing to your years on the chain gang as evidence ;)). I won't even comment on the notion that environmentalists don't care about carrying capacity. chris
