What can be done in 10 days or even 3 days that can't be done in an hour or two? Buy a gun in Calif at a gun show, fill out the paper work and wait 10 days for the background check (if of coarse you have passed the test that gives you the legal right to buy one in the first place) After the 10 days, drive over to the place that will handle the gun transfer. Buy a gun in Texas at a gun show, fill out the paper, wait while the gun seller calls with his federal ID number and gets an approval. Does California use some other federal agency different than another state to determine whether or not a person can own a gun? Is there a place, state, or show where a gun can be purchased without some sort of back ground check?. I moved out of California because of all this and other convoluted law crap. Laws don't make for a safe place, educated people do. The solution is simple - why can't politicians see this. Another simple solution....do away with all politicians
