Gunners,

A few questions that have been bugging me for a while:
Number one, are most threaded barrels threaded with a standard
thread (1/2 x 28)? If so, then couldn't you use a muzzle attachment
(say like a flash suppresser or compensator) for an AR-15 and put it on
a Tec-22 (since they both use 1/2 x 28 thread and shoot a 22 caliber
projectile, .223 vs 22 LR)?
Number two, I was reading that the flash suppresser on a M16 is
called a flash suppresser / compensator, how is it also a compensator,
do all closed end flash suppressers also act as a compensator somewhat?
Is it as good a compensator as a more traditional looking AR-15
compensator?
Number three, are the lower receivers of the Intertec
semi-automatics (TEC-9, DC-9, TEC-22, etc.) made of polymer or are they
just cheap plastic? Also I heard they declared bankruptcy on Jan 1,
2001, anybody sad about that?
That's all my questions for today, thanks every for answering all my
weird (and sometimes dumb) questions that I have asked over the last 6
months. I have never had a question go unanswered nor not explained
very thoroughly. Thank you all.
