Ah yes, the North Vs. South Water War rears its ugly head again.  Time
for us self-righteous Northerners to play "holier than thou", while
denying our own outrageous misuse of water.  I'm sick of it.

Need I point out that neither LA nor the SF Bay area has anywhere near
enough rainfall to be self-sufficient on water supplies?

Need I point out that only San Francisco had the chutzpah to get its
water from a dam in Yosemite National Park?  And that the dam was
built *after* the park was established?

Need I point out that, even now, most of Sacramento has *no* water
meters?

Need I point out that farming, excuse me, agribusiness is misusing far
more water than either megalopolis?

Unless you're getting your water exclusively from the rain falling on
your own property, you're part of the problem.  Let's all quit the
pissing contest and start using water more sanely.
