Our school district is reviewing the implications of our Kindergarten 
Entrance Age cut-off - currently must be five before March 1 - and would 
appreciate some observations from teachers and others.  What is the 
cut-off in your district?  What strategies do you use to discourage 
parents from placing children who are eligible due to age, but are not 
ready due to immaturity or ?? Any helpful info would be appreciated.
