I am a long time loyal Bell Canada long distance customer who felt cheated
when I discovered they had a secret, they were allowing DOUBLE Real Plus
discounts for 6 months to former customers who had left Bell. I insisted
on the same discount. They refused and threatened to cut me off as I had
already deducted the discount from prior month's bills. I applied to the
CRTC and they were of no help.  This seems illogical. The key for Bell is
secrecy, but from a business viewpoint, for customer satisfaction, I would
have thought that customers discovering and asking for this discount would
have been given it rather than forcing them to leave Bell to get it.

I am posting this so other loyal Bell Canada long distance customers will
know what is happening, and know of Bell's high handed treatment of people
who have the temerity to complain.

If you are a loyal Bell customers also feels it is wrong for Bell to reward
those who had the good sense to leave for cheaper rates, whilst not
rewarding those that stayed with Bell, then read the above web page and
tell Bell what you think of them by voting with your feet.

After 27 years with Bell Canada I have now moved my long distance to
Fonorola, who are a Canadian company with excellent rates and who
financially support Ontario Educational TV (TVO Channel 19 in Toronto).
