Description 

The person in this role will be responsible for all phases of system
development for our Human Resources Systems, or our Merchandising and
Retail Systems. 

Responsibilities include: 



�meet with customers, gather and analyze business requirements; 
�system analysis, design, programming and testing; 
�documentation for development and enhancement, as well as software
quality assurance; 
�implementation and integration of third party software packages; 
�coach team members as they carry out their day-to-day tasks ensuring
quality and timely business solutions; 
�communicate to users and management on project status; and, 
�communicate with vendors on appropriate projects.

"Must Have" Skills


�Post secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent training�5
or more years experience in all aspects of systems
development�Demonstrated proficiency in Client/Server system design,
Unix (AIX), Visual Basic, C, C++ .�Excellent leadership and analytical
skills�Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and
written



"Nice to Have" Skills


�Knowledge of Human Resources Systems, or Merchandising & Retail
Systems is an asset�Knowledge of PeopleSoft is an asset (willing to
train)�Previous experience in a formal methodology, preferably DMR,
would be an asset
