What a case of "chopping off your nose to spite your face"!! Fact is, the MS browser is a fine piece of software. > My stay with Mindlink expires in February (if they don't keep > extending our memberships everytime they have a technical problem). When ISTAR took over MAGI, everything in my estimation went straight down the tubes. Problems with the "Net" were never "their problem" but that of the customer. In my case every problem was due to ISTAR. I don't want a "big" company either. All I want is access to E-mail, WWW, and News Groups. All other "extras" offered by companies like ISTAR are of absolutely no interest. I want a "plain Jane" service and nothing more. My current ISP is FTN but, they have been bought out by some crap outfit in Toronto so, when my current contract expires so does my interest in FTN or whatever they call themselves these days. The service here since the takeover has gone into the toilet just like it did when ISTAR took over MAGI. Is there any way for the consumer to beat these monstrous and useless situations? > If you're having problems and the technical support or feedback people > have not been replying, try emailing someone there directly. And don't forget to > keep your cool and ask nicely. :) By the time I get that far, even the Antarctic ice cap would melt from the heat generated by the lack of service encountered. -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Be nice to Separatists! Invite them to a turkey dinner as the main course. Show Separatists warmth - preheat oven to 600 deg C, open oven door, shove Separatist into oven, close door. Practice CPR with Separatists. - tie them to railroad tracks.
