They have similar (probably identical) policies about ATM fees. MHT said that there's no transaction fee for using another bank's ATM within the "tri-state area". Outside that area, they charge $1 to use an ATM on the Cirrus network. Chemical Bank said that there's no transaction fee for using another bank's ATM, unless the ATM was ONLY on the Cirrus network. If the ATM is also on NYCE, Plus, or MAC, there's no fee. (I imagine that most or all of the ATMs in the "tri-state area" are also on one of these networks.) And by the way, Amsterdam Savings Bank doesn't charge a transaction fee for using another bank's ATM, but they charge you a flat $1 per month just for having the ATM card. -- Joe Schwartz E-mail: xor@acm.rpi.edu or xor@clotho.acm.rpi.edu MapInfo Corp. 200 Broadway These are my own opinions. Any similarity to the Troy, NY 12180 opinions of MapInfo Corporation is purely coincidental.
