Of course they have control - they own something that you want, and
want so bad that you will exchange money for it.  You have got to let
go of this socialist dream of yours that Internet Service is a RIGHT.
It is a COMMODITY.  You DON'T own it, and Time Warner DOES own it.
When they don't want to SELL it to you they don't have to sell it to
you.  And when that happens you ought to just move on unless you have
some grand plans (which I suspect you do not)to purchase Time Warner
and change the rules.
