🚀 go-pugleaf

Hi,

      I am a Junior-year student attending RPI, and I am planning to take the
train home to Philadelphia for Thanksgiving break. I've taken Amtrak out of
Albany-Rensselaer many times before, but I have a question regarding the
safety of the parking lot there.
      I recently bought a car a few months ago, but I am NOT going to attempt
to drive 250 miles (including a 50-mile stretch through densely-populated
northern NJ) through holidy traffic next Wednesday which is why I am going home
by train. I'd really like to just drive myself to the station, park it, go home
Wednesday morning, come back Sunday evening, and drive myself back to RPI
rather than taking CDTA (which I have nothing against, I've used their services
many times before) or a cab. Since I've never done this before, my question is:
Will my car be safe in the lot while I'm gone? The parking lot appears to be
fairly well-lit and it's always jam-packed with cars, but can anyone tell me if
they've done this before and have returned to find their car as they left it?
Does Amtrak have a problem with this?
