I was aghast at the mention of not linking up New York to Vermont ! Is that all the planners can think of is the winter recreation industry? Travel and vacation is reason enough for the link. Living in Saratoga Springs, I see many Vermont plates all times of the year. Would be nice to make the travel access easier for residents of both states. Maybe some kind of Federal aid could be garnered to improve this sad situation. Everyone would gain from the arrangement!!! Vermonters would travel to New York State as well as the reverse. Ludicrous.
