fr.* looks like this for WWW. Of course, they have MUCH MUCH traffic.
And the fr.* hierarchy naming is not really logical (it started using
standard words, e.g. English, and now there is a trend to translate
the wording, but the translation is not really 1-1 and this always
brings much debate).

fr.comp.infosystemes.www.annonces.d Discussions autour des sites d'information WWW.

Basically, the fr.comp.infosystemes.* hierarchy is for network information
systems (gopher, hypertext, etc). However, it's mostly for WWW today.

And it's abused because noone reads the descriptions anyway.
