Hello,

I have a small task, and I'm looking for somebody to
do it (against payment). It's pretty urgent... (a few days if possible).

Situation: there is a list of about 12'000 words (.txt flat file, or 
mysql table, both available), and somebody should read be able
to make a voice record (.wav probably) for each of these words, 
which should be then converted to a .mp3.  Each file will have
"pronunced_word.mp3" as filename.  It's to prepare an non-profit 
educational homepage, with audio-dictionnary. 

So I would need a small linux application, which can be console, QT,
KDE, Gnome, or anything based, to let the reader (is not an 
informatician) record the words as quick as possible. 

For example: 
1. the word is displayed
2. 2 seconds pause, *beep*
3. the recorder is started
4. the reader says the word
5. and push on [enter] or the mouse for example to tell 
   it's finished
6. the program let the reader listen to the recorded word
7. if it's ok (choice by keyboard or mouseclick), save, convert to mp3,
   -> next word, otherwise goto step 2. 

A way to tell the script: please start from the word "xxxx" 
would be practical to have ("save state"). 

Anybody having an idea how to do that? :)  If yes, please
mail me a short offer and how you think you would 
program that (language, toolkit): just replace the "spam-2002-06" 
by "om" in my mail adresse.
