The Domain Name Registration documents and related pages have been 
modified according to latest knowledge. It unfortunately took several 
days longer than expected due to an illness of our lawyer.

The applicatin form will be ready for submission when the new policy is 
put into force.

Modifications have merely been applied to the DNP (Domain Name Policy) 
paper:

* role and responsibilities of the admin contact are now more precisely 
  formulated
* a hold period for entries to be deleted due to outstanding payments   
  has been defined
* changes in domain name itself are not free of charge anymore
* the receivers of motifications are mentioned
* the list of reasons for rejects has been extended
* time schedule for warnings in case of naming conflicts is now more 
  accurately defined and
* several other modifications of possibly less significance have been 
  introduced.

Old (version 1) and new (version 2) documents can be readily compared.

There are no plans to revise the documents again before January (with the 
exception of the application form as mentioned above) but the rights to 
do so are explicitely reserved.
