The problem is that you don't have the faintest idea how News works.

Given reasonably equal speed paths from one News server to another,
it is totally random from which source an article is accepted. With
other words split second differences will determine which "Path" an
article will take (since the News system uses a flooding algorithm
your basic premises is wrong anyway). For the article in question 
there are dozens of different paths to get to our site.
