Sites that carry news need to exchange feeds with news servers in the US to get faster posting. For example, we exchange news with a few sites in Switzerland, this way, articles in the ch.* groups get there faster, plus articles in the ch.* groups get sent around the US faster. To fix it, a news site would have to set up news exchanges with other sites. But many sites would not want to use their bandwidth for a full feed coming from many sites as we do. We have 5 feeds that are full. We also sent out mail to most of the news sites in Switzerland for a news feed. If there is anyone out there that would like a full feed, we will be able to feed them. : Does anybody know of an internet provider with a news server that works ? You might want to try imp.ch. They have a good feed. Or, you could even get a 'telnet' only account with a US provider. But there will be a delay in transfers. Most of those accounts can be had for under $10, plus you get all the extras like being able to set up your own www page on both a ch and us site. -- Christian Nielsen cnielsen@vii.com,CN46,KB7HAP Vyzynz International Inc.
