Hello to all,

	Here is the problem:
	Few days ago I lost all the .o files inmy system.
	The system is a SUN server 630 MP running 4.1.2. (sun4m architecture).

	I recoverd many files exept the following:

	/usr/lib/debug/malloc.o
	/usr/lib/debug/mallocmap.o
	/usr/lib/misalign/crt0.o
	/usr/lib/misalign/mcrt0.o
	/usr/lib/misalign/gcrt0.o
	/usr/lib/crt0.o
	/usr/lib/mcrt0.o
	/usr/lib/gcrt0.o
	/usr/lib/adb/adbsub.o
	/usr/lib/bb_link.o
	/usr/lddrv/cg8/cg8.o
	
	and all files of:

	/usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/OBJ/*.o

	And the back up of the /usr partition didn't work that day.

	Now I am trying to get them back.
	I tried the "/usr/etc/install/add_services" program.
	I answered the questions to extract the Sys media file.
	And it worked, I got all the "/usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/OBJ/*.o" files back.

	So I say ok lets get the others back. 
	I ran "/usr/etc/install/add_services" again and asked for 
	the "usr" media file.
	But I got the following answer:

ptsun00# add_services

Extracting the sunos 4.1.2 sun4m 'usr' media file.

/usr/etc/install/tar/export/exec/sun4_sunos_4_1_2/usr: cannot extract file.

Please check local media device /usr/etc/install/tar/export/exec/sun4_sunos_

	And then if I want to rerun "/usr/etc/install/add_services" to get 
	again the Sys media file that I got with the same methode I get 
	the error messages as well.


	So my questions are:

	     (COULD YOU PLEASE ANSWER MY MAIL, I WILL POST A SUMMERY.)

	1- The media volume is a CD so everything shuld be on there and I
	    don't have to change volume.
	2- does anybody know what the problem is?
	3- does anybody know how I can get back the .o files of my /usr
	   file system? Namely:
		/usr/lib/debug/malloc.o
		/usr/lib/debug/mallocmap.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/crt0.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/mcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/gcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/crt0.o
		/usr/lib/mcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/gcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/adb/adbsub.o
		/usr/lib/bb_link.o
		/usr/lddrv/cg8/cg8.o
	4- Does anybody have a SUNserver 630MP running sun4.1.2 with the 
	   sun4m architecture?
	   If yes can he send me a the following files in .tar.uu format?
		/usr/lib/debug/malloc.o
		/usr/lib/debug/mallocmap.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/crt0.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/mcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/misalign/gcrt0.o
		/usr/lib/crt0.o
		/usr/lib/mcrt0.o
