/etc/uucp/Systems reads:

It is in the chat script, but no combination whatsoever would
change the error msg line, reading 'chat: TCGETA failed, errno 45'

TCGETA is related to ioctl()/termio(), that's all I have.

Any pointers welcome, I'll summarize.
