Have you gotten the lockd and ld.so patches from sun.  We had to run
these on all of our machines while developing Lotus 1-2-3.  In fact,
these patches should be listed on one of the cover sheets in the 1-2-3
distribution.  If you don't have the info on the patches, I can try to
get the info from some friends I still have at Lotus.
