Notice that nowhere in his harangue does he apologize for his >eight hour downtime. Basically, he blames his customers for the outtage. On the contrary. It is rather obvious to us that if nobody thinks a problem is important enough to report, that it isn't a big enough deal to get someone out of bed for until the next morning. If customers who are having problems with service outages don't think its important to tell us about them, then *in their judgement* it must not be. We let the customer decide. That's how it's supposed to work, right? To flame about something you did not tell us about is not only inconsistent with your *own* judgment of its importance, it accomplishes nothing. -- -- Karl Denninger (karl@MCS.Net)| MCSNet - The Finest Internet Connectivity Modem: [+1 312 248-0900] | (shell, PPP, SLIP, leased) in Chicagoland Voice: [+1 312 248-8649] | 7 Chicagoland POPs, ISDN, 28.8, much more Fax: [+1 312 248-9865] | Email to "info@mcs.net" WWW: http://www.mcs.net ISDN - Get it here TODAY! | Home of Chicago's *Three STAR A* Clarinet feed!
