The clout project provides email service in the .chi.il.us domain
for many sites in the Chicago area. Some sites listed above forward
mail and files to other clout sites. For more information about
clout or to report problems send email to postmaster@clout.chi.il.us.

If your site is responsible for substantially higher than usual volume please
send a short note detailing the circumstances to blair@obdient.chi.il.us.
We'll be happy to include it in the next report.

Unusual conditions noted by Postmaster Of The Month or clout system
administrators for the week ending 01/02/93:

Greg Gulik reports that someone on the net began to mail him aprox
6 megs of source code before sending mail saying he was sending it.
Greg already had that particular source on gagme and sent a message
asking him to stop. About 3 megs moved before the "please don't send
more" message was received.

Several system administrators reported difficulty getting through the
terminal server to clout. We assume this is because of maintainance
done over the school holiday at the U of C. The condition appears to
be intermittent.... we are watching :-).
