The next meeting of the System Administrators for the Clout electronic
mail system will be held at the offices of WKQX in the Merchandise Mart
building in Chicago on Monday, April 6th, 1992, at 7:15pm.  Our host
will be Q101's Doug Blair.

This regular meeting is open to clout administrators and other interested
parties.  Because the building will be closed we will need to know who
wishes to attend beforehand.  Please indicate your attendance via email
to blair@obdient.chi.il.us or by calling 708-682-8401 no later than
Monday morning.  We will have access to Q101's medium-tech conference
room and Chicago's finest Pizza!  (No, I do not expect to start a debate on
which is best.  We will order from whichever restaurant receives the most
votes emailed to pizza@obdient.chi.il.us by 5:00pm on Monday April 6th.
One vote per email address.  Downtown restaurants that deliver only,
please!  Decision of the judge (me, cause I'm buying) is final.

	Startup of a new clout node
	System administrator guidelines
	BSMTP links to clout nodes
	Interpretation of clout uucp stats reports 
	Ftpmail guidelines
	
	...and other items that have come to our attention.

Note special meeting start time of 7:15.  (Doug's busy til around 7:01).  You
will need to sign in at the guard desk in the South Lobby.  You're going to
Suite 1700, which is in the south east corner of the 17th floor.

Directions to the Merchandise Mart:

	The Mart occupies the two city blocks bounded by Wells, Kinzie,
Orleans and the Chicago River.  Normally the building is easily accessible
from the Ohio Street offramp from the Kennedy Expressway, but this ramp
may be closed for construction on Monday night.  There are public parking
garages a) attached to the Apparel Center east of the Mart b) one block
north of the Mart on Orleans.  If you park in the Apparel Center garage
you can park free with a five dollar purchase in the "Shops At The Mart,"
the lowest two floors of the Mart.  Yes, there _is_ a Radio Shack in the
mall. :-)  You may also find street parking (meters not enforced after
6:00pm) on Kinzie or Wells streets.

	From the North or South shores, take Lake Shore Drive (south or
north as appropriate) to the Wacker Drive exit.  Follow Upper Wacker 
Drive along the south bank of the scenic Chicago River to Orleans
Street.  (You'll see the Merchandise Mart across the river to the north -
only the Pentagon has more floor space - it's pretty hard to miss the
darned thing).  Turn right (north) and cross the river on the Orleans
Street bridge.  Park immediately to the left at the end of the bridge,
or continue one block to the Self Park garage.

	From the Northwest, follow the Kennedy Expressway or your own
carefully chosen "alternate route."  If the Ohio Street offramp is open,
follow it east to the first stoplight at Orleans, turn right on Orleans,
travel three blocks and park in the Self Park garage.  If the Ohio Street
offramp is closed, exit at any of the downtown streets going EAST (Lake,
Washington, Monroe, Jackson), go east to Wacker Drive, go north on
Wacker to Orleans, turn left (north-ish) and cross the river on Orleans,
park at the Apparel Center garage at the end of the bridge.

	From the West, take the I-88, 290 and/or Eisenhower Expressway
to the Kennedy northbound and exit at Lake Street as above, or to the
Upper Wacker Drive exit.  Go north on Upper Wacker as above.

	From the Southwest follow I-55 Stevenson to the Dan Ryan north,
exit at Lake Street as above.

	PLEASE NOTE: The Merchandise Mart is also a stop on the Evanston
Express, Howard and Ravenswood L lines and the 37, 41, 44, 61 and 125 CTA
bus lines.  If these numbers are familiar to you, BRAVO!  Mass transit works!
