In some ways I think the post is a little inflammatory, but I too noticed that they don't keep up their menu. Several months ago some channels were switched around. To this point they still don't give the name of Channel 26 on our menu. We pay extra for Optimum service, but they don't update their menus in a timely way. I agree that the service rep should not have made excuses. She should have written down the complaint and told the subscriber that she would forward the complaint to the proper department. I personally don't use the "paper view" (pay-per-view) so I don't know how often it doesn't work right. Question: When you pushed the button from the Preview channel, had the movie already started? If so, then it may be their effort to save you from paying for just part of a movie by accident. However, the full and correct listing should have been available on the PPV menu. No excuses! They owe you an apology and assurance that they will do their best to correct the problem. I also have not used any other cable service and don't know if others are better in these regards.
