I once made a return to CompUSA. I wasn't charged extra, however they
would not issue a credit on my credit card there and then. They said that
the paper work has to go to the office the next day and they will issue a
credit. I asked the person to just note this, that I would be getting a
credit, and to sign their name on the back of my paper work. The girl
refused because she would not give out her last name.
I found some lacky near the back of the store where the offices were. I
asked him to please go find the manager and tell him that I am a disatisfied
customer and that I will be waiting for the manager at the front of the
store. That the manage will know who I am because I will be standing on top
of the counter at the return counter. Some customers looked at me and
wouldn't make eye contact. All employees behind the counter scooted away.
Some customers smiled at me and figured I was a disatisfied customer and
gave me a thumbs up. In no time the manager was at the counter writing about
my credit and signing his name and printing it out since I could not read
his signature.
