Wow, you are a bitch. You expect stellar performance from a dirt-cheap
modem with no real evidence that the modem is bad (and, someone did
have a good point, you should have at least 166MHz CPU for a winmodem)
and you accuse the store of screwing you over even though the modem is
almost certainly good. Then you threaten to boycott the mailman (oops,
I mean the store you bought it from) for not taking back a modem that
is two months old and you call such a policy stinky and uncaring. Even
Wal-mart doesn't take back computers after two weeks. Do you live in a
cave? No computer business takes back product two months later, you
ignorant bonehead. Return restrictions keeps prices down for good
customers so it's not a stinky and uncaring policy.

I further agree with the poster who said that TigerDirect is probably
better off without your business. They make almost nothing off of the
cheapest stuff. And, when you use up a lot of their employee time by
your silly whining and when you want to return a lot of things, you use
up their rightful profit and then some.

TigerDirect, like the mailman, is under no obligation to provide tech
support nor to take back the product for any length of time longer than
they've agreed to. They're only helping deliver the product to you
from the manufacturer. If you have any problems with you modem, take
it up with the company that made the modem -- it's their product. And,
it's the manufacturer who gets the lion's share of what you have paid.
