My Telephone bill (just Long Distance) exceeded $2,000 per month. I'm with Sprint, For several reasons #1 FRIDAYS are free, no matter where we call (not too sure on international, since we dont make many of those). The second is their "Sprint Since" (sp?), where I get free gifts or other items based on our "net" phone bill usage. After 300,000 points I was able to get a FREE Laptop computer. This late sumer We're off to HAWAII!!! I have compared several Long Distance, and although there are others that probably, could be cheaper, but in the Long Run, I am saving Lots of Money. After a recent Audit, the auditor E & Y, we have over $38,000 from 1996 to 1997 in phone useage. This was caused by investigation of several Long Distance Comapny, and getting on my local carrier (Pac Bell's) vaule Promise Plus plan, thus netting us over 50% savings per month. Our average local toll and interlata (or was that intralata, anyways) only .0325 cents per min. With Sprint we get (on average .04 per min in the State of California) and .0725 cents per min out of State. Again I don't recall what we pay on international calls since those are extremly far and few. Regards, Allan, MCC (the above quoted rates are "my" companies average rate, you're could vary!!!)
