I've observed that the Serbs have a lot more in common with the Nazis than they'd care to think.  As for gun control, the arguments tend to be polarized....pro or con, with little between.  Personally, I see it as an ineffective anti-crime measure that makes ill-informed people feel better.  Gun control, by its very nature, punishes the people who obey the law while doing nothing to stem the activities of those who chose to ignore society's rules.

Prohibition of alcohol didn't work, the banning of narcotics doesn't work, and the banning of firearms won't work.  If you want to reduce the number of violent crimes, start burning the people who commit them.  Lock 'em up and throw away the key.  Don't punish those of us who pay taxes, vote, and consider the neighborhood cop our friend.
