Exactly - most criminals don't even obtain guns legally anyways! No 7
or 30 day waiting period, background check, laws, etc. is ever going to
prevent a criminal from getting a gun.

Yep - and also consider alot of crimes are committed by repeat
offenders. If they were kept in jail to rot (or beter yet executed)
they wouldn't be out again committing more violent crimes. We are way
too lenient with convicted criminals here - screw "human rights" and
the "overcrowding problem" - pack 'em in there like sardines! You
commit a violent crime, you have NO rights!
