Yeah, let's blame the gun owner that obtained the gun legally and registered it! Let's NOT blame the thief/robber/murderer/rapist - it's not his fault! If it wasn't for that legal, law-abiding citizen leaving his home and gun alone, that poor theif wouldn't be able to steal it! Why stop at guns? Someone steals a car and does a hit-and-run, kills a family. Who's to blame here - why it's the guy the car was stolen FROM! That evil bastard! It's his fault! Let's hang him! If that asshole hadn't park that damn car in his garage, that family would still be alive! Fry him! Or better yet, this is the law we need: Joe gets his wallet stolen by Leroy. Leroy takes the money in the wallet and buys a gun on the street. THen Leroy kills a man. Who's to blame?? Not Leroy - let's get Joe! If it wasn't for Joe, Leroy never would have the money to buy that damn gun! Joe, that big jerk!
