My experience with HP engineers is that they cary HP laptops, but that the computers were provided for free. That may be the case with some of the others. They don't really encourage putchase of an HP system among their employees. The MS employees I know are more likely to not be running a MS OS than the general public. Why? Because they are computer geeks and more likely to play with alternative OSs, like OS/2 and UNIX/LINUX than the general public. Few people at the Chevy dealership I was at drove Chevys.
