Our site is used mostly for research. When a user leaves, thier account is usually not removed. After a while we kill thier passwd so noone can log in, but we don't delete any of thier files. Each user here works for a lab. It may be that others in the lab will need access to the files of a user after (perhaps long after) they have left. Things only get deleted after a -long- period. So accounts can still get mail. DanZ -- This article is for entertainment purposes only.
