I am currently doing an assignment dealing with social
controversies in AI.  This is mainly concentrating on
the debate of whether AI will have a positive or negative
effect on society (eg. reduce employment opportunities
for humans; introduce the possibility of computers 'taking
over the world' etc.)

I basically intend to summarise the arguments from either side of the 
debate.  I would appreciate any responses with respect to this
topic (someone start up an argument??) or any assistence with
finding relevant material.
