Suspicious Lotus file

Hemlock again. Had a question about why my 1-2-3 files were sliding down
the page when printed.....

I downloaded the virus detector P-PROT 2.06a and ran it. In "Heuristics"
method it found my lotus BPRINT.EXE file to be "suspicious." Said "This is
a self-modifying program, which may indicate a self-encrypting virus or
just unusual code." Terrific, but I don't know what that means or what to
do about it. Can anyone translate this for me please? Does this sound like
it could have been creating the printing problem? And what can/should I do
to correct it. I'm by no means capable of making programming changes and
I'm afraid to just delete the thing (it wouldn't still print things,
right?) so .... while it's nice to have found this tidbit of information I
don't have a clue as to how to use it.

Follow-ups to jtroxel@u.washington.edu please.

Thanks.
