Hi! I'm looking for the proper settings of /kernel/drv/st.conf in Solaris 2.4 for a (standard?) Exabyte 8205 hooked on a SS10. So far, this is what I have found out by reading the man pages: tape-config-list= "EXABYTE EXB-82058VQANXR1", "Exabyte 8MM hh /w compression", "EXB8205-data"; EXB8205-data = 1,0x35,0,0xc239,4,0x14,0x00,0x90,0x00,3; tape-drive-buffering = 1; tape-driver-buf-max-size=0x200000; The drive has 1 Mb buffer I'm told. Are the above mentioned values tuned for maximum smoke :-) or should I alter any of them?
