IMPORTANT!!! The format for the MAIL SERVER is slightly different:
    send pc/dirutil/dirmat20.zip
In other words omit / from the path when using our mail server.

If you don't get any response to your mail server requests, under no
circumstances keep sending the same request over and over again.
Please ask your own site's system manager to construct a returnable
mail path for you.

If you have netnews access, you can read upload announcements on the
(moderated) comp.archives.msdos.announce newsgroup, otherwise, you can
subscribe to the mailing list below and get announcements in the
digest format.

2) There are a couple of versatile programs that automate the ftp process ...
   a) autoftp   -  oak: /pub/misc/unix/autoftp30.tar-z
                -  garbo: /unix/ftp/autoftp3.zoo
   b) batchftp  -  oak: /pub/misc/unix/batchftp102.tar-z
                -  garbo: /unix/ftp/batchftp102.tar.Z  (also batchftp.inf)
                batchftp requires the Berkeley Unix system (e.g. a SUN) ...
