Hi text adventure lovers,

I just uploaded the following files to ftp.ulowell.edu, directory /pub:

deepspac.zip Deep Space Drifter
dunj422.zip The Dungeons of Dunjin
pcadvent.zip Colossal Caves, 551 points
winadv20.zip Colossal Caves as a Windows 3 application
pcdungeo.zip Dungeon, which later became Zork
pcworld.zip World, a science fiction text adventure
unnkul12.zip Unnkulian Underworld: The Unknown Unventure
unnk2v20.zip Unnkulian Unventure II: The Secret of Acme

and for those interested in writing text adventures:

world1.shr C source code for pcworld 1/2
world2.shr dto 2/2
tads110.shr TADS: The Text Adventure Development System, used to write
               deepspac, unnkul12, and unnk2v20 above

You can't list the directory /pub on ftp.ulowell.edu, but when you know the
file names, you can download from it. I think they will move the files to
the msdos/Games directory after checking them for viri.

I collected these files from various sources. They are not necessarily the
latest versions available, but the latest versions I have. I hope it helps
that they are together now in one location; maybe the authors can put
updates there, too (assuming, hopefully, that ulowell is also glad to have
them and will keep them there - I admit I didn't ask them).

Enjoy! (If you get this twice: I just got "error in posting" and retry)

Volker
