I'll put it this way - the only postings that have appeared in
alt.bbs.waffle in the last 9 months have been crossposts or
postings from people who didn't know about comp.bbs.waffle.
(Mainly along the lines of "help - I can't get waffle working!")

Do everyone a favour and remove alt.bbs.waffle - it confuses the
hell out of newbie waffle admins.

As for the reason it hasn't been rmgrouped?

It has. Several times.

There are 2 problems with rmgrouping alt.bbs.waffle.

1: Waffle boxes don't automate control messages, so unless am
operator sees the message, it's not honoured.

2: Bruce Becker and/or his associates forge newgroup messages for it
   again.
(Forging == making the newgroup look like it came from the person
who rmgrouped it - Look for ...!feline!halt!... in all alt control
messages. If it's there, the message is a forgery.)
