Cypress Semiconductor is developing a video/audio compression chip. We
are currently seeking a relationship with a University to broaden our
knowledge of and do research in the following:

MPEG 1 type smart encoding.
Px64 type smart encoding.
Motion estimation.
Video processor architecture.
Scalable MPEG decoding, i.e. receiving MPEG 1 bit stream, decoding
  only QCIF resolution.
Image filtering and pre/post processing.
Image stabilization.
Echo cancellation.
