We upgraded from Visual dBase 5 to 7 for Y2K compliance.

Our user wants to mailmerge in Word 97 from existing and updated tables.
Word reports it cannot open the data source if the table has been
created/updated by VDB 7. VDB 5 tables are OK..

From the KB at www.dbase2000.com there is the statement that ODBC
drivers for VDB 7 don't exist at this time. When will this be addressed?

What is the solution in the mean time as we don't have the
time/knowledge to start writing/changing programs to convert data. We
assume that the script listed in the KB article is a dbase program to
perform some sort of conversion?
