LocalTalk is a low-cost LAN technology, built into every Macintosh
computer. It is fully described in "Inside AppleTalk", by Sidhu, et. al.,
available from Apple Computer (at at most computer bookstores).

Localtalk is a datalink and physical layer technology. It is part of the
AppleTalk architectural family of protocols.
