This is for the oldtimers,
 
From our universities surplus I dug up two IBM Cluster adapters,
new in box, and a copy of a what seems to be the software that comes
with it. There was no manual other than a leaflet with hardware 
installation instructions.

From the batchfiles on the diskette I figured out how to do a minimal
installation, and after a while I got a program running called IT,
that stands for Information Transfer and works as a kind of premature FTP.
So far I am happy. But ..
 
There is another program on the diskette called DC (Disk Configuration)
that lets me configure a PUBLIC an several PRIVATE disk. This suggests
that there is a kind of disksharing possible. 
Because of the lack of a manual I have no idea how to use this.
Another clue is a program on the disk called VM. When I start this 
I get the error message "PUBLIC/PRIVATE diskdriver not loaded."

My two questions:
Is there anybody who can help me to the (information in the ) manual.
Anybody who knows what software I have to use to get disksharing running.
 
Understand me well, I do not intend to use it in the university again,
but a friend of mine works (volontairily) for a poor organisation with
surplus computers that could use a kind of disksharing very well.
