The NCR version of Lan Manager inherited from AT&T, MAC services and serving, including file and print services. Prior to the AT&T / NCR merger, I worked with this product at AT&T and saw it perform. Hence, I would conclude that NCR has what you want, and it does work. For any more details, please contact NCR privately.
