Coloring? What are you talking about? I was a party in a three-way exchange whose other two parties were RR and ORBS reps, so I do know a thing or two about what's been going on with ORBS in general and vis-a-vis RR in particular. > The reality is that almost all that > happens on the ORBS list is done by a computer running a program that > is relatively fixed and unchanging. When was the last time you visited www.orbs.org? In particular, the next to the last paragraph at http://www.orbs.org/database.html and http://www.orbs.org/hallofshame.html to which that paragraph refers? One thing I find particularly ironic is on the latter page - while maintaining that ORBS use is strictly voluntary, the ORBS maintainer seems to be really pissed off by MAPS's usage of BGP, and fails to see that it's the same basic principle - "if you don't want it, you don't use it". And even tries to use legalese in that regard. > If we were intensely curious, we > could even ask them to open source the code, so that we may see how it > works, exactly. Huh? The automatic part of the whole thing can be hacked by me or even you in two or three hours tops. Including breaks for trips to the fridge or wherever you keep your beer, and it's not really complex or even interesting. > Feel free to contradict my beliefs with facts, I'm still waiting. Why wait? Why don't you just go and check web pages at the very obvious address - http://www.orbs.org? Do you really need me to do it? Dima
