Thanks for the respect I was just trying to answer some questions you all had. I have had the internal training and I held the CD in my hands long enough to take it home and look thru it. Yes the conversion can be done manually but I would not say that it could be done by the average user! The average user now days just wants to click on something and go! I understand a lot of High Speed Internet users are more knowledgeable (your assumptions are not most users) than that and I am happy for them but believe me their is a whole chunk of subscribers that readly and freely admit they know nothing about this computer and just want their internet back!! I hear it everyday. No doubt the CD can be hacked. But I was told that at some point in the next 2 months you will have to load the CD and register your computer with COX. If you can accomplish that without installing the software great!! I am not sure you can because the software is going to send all the necessary info to COX directly. Like I said before their is nothing saying you can't uninstall the software 5 minutes after the regestriation process has been done! One problem that I tried to commuicate back up the ladder that I think fell on deaf ears is the fact that the CD install software is totally mouse dependant! You have no keyboard stroke equivelents for any of the choices and if you are visually impaired you are even more out of luck because 99% of all the text in the install program is pure graphic and not text based at all so your screen reading program will not see it!
