I sent this to COX a few days ago:

Your about as useful as "Tits on a bull!" This is about the fourth
emailing I've sent you and you've replied with no answers to my
questions. All you lament is we are getting a bunch of emailings ....
please forgive ... blah, blah, blah. Then you'll conclude with "If your
technical issue has already been resolved, we thank you for
your understanding and there is no need to respond to this email. "

in other words we don't care about your question. I am going to expose
you in the cable newsgroup with a new thread in
"comp.dcom.modems.cable" & "coxcablelv.talk"

READ what the problem was down below and answer my question instead of
passing the buck! it won't solve your CALLOUS attitude exposing but at
least I will get personal satisifaction exposing you people as just
taking our money and giving no thought to what we ask. What do you
have for technical support? I bet this is right on their desktop :

THEN I get this back from them!

Dear Valued Cox Customer:Thank you for your inquiry. Cox is committed
to providing the best customer service possible.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of your request we will need for you
to
speak with a Tier 2 phone support representative. This problem will
require them to go over some diagnostics procedures and possible
system
configuration checks/changes with you to help determine the full
extent
of the issue. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at
1-800-234-3993. When you get a representative on the line at this
number
please ask to speak with a Tier 2 representative. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.
Did you know that you can find answers to many of your Cox High Speed
Internet questions by visiting the customer support site at,
http://support.cox.net/custsup/index.shtml

As usual they want to have you call them up when RIGHT NOW it's their
problem with their crappy network.

Same thing happened here, except my email message accumulated three
identical replies to my repeated questions before I gave up and camped
out in their phone system for a few hours.

It seems Cox's e-mail support consists entirely of an automatic reply
system! Certainly no human brains are involved!

That said, do you really think a fortune 500 with an effective
monopoly wherever they run cable will care at all what you say to
whom?

Since it's impolite to post Binaries in a discussion group,
Could you post a link to that .GIF image, please? ;)

I believe the proper expression is "tits on a nun". Crude, but often
apropos.
