Here is some information on the nethopper which is very reasonably
priced considering it's features:
Here is the info on the Rockwell International Net Hopper. I received
this information in the mail and thought it looked interesting. I don't
own one and have no experience with this unit. All of the information in
this posting came from their information.
Two models are available -- Part Number 117103-0 retails for 3495 and connects
TCP/IP network users to their remote backbone using standard telephone lines.
3 internal v.32bis/v.42bis modems are included.
The second model is part number 117101-0 and the list price is 1995. This unit
is the same as above but includes only one v.32bis/v.42bis internal modem.
Features -
o Simple five step configuration requires only the addition of a network
number, phone number, subnet mask and password information
o Integraded v.32bis/v.42bis modem requires no modem configuation and
provides auto-dial and auto-answer capabilities and can operate in either
syncronous or asynchronous modes
o Transparent operation allows user to send mail, ftp files and access
remote databases without extraneous modem commands, terminal emulation
problems or addressing ad hoc file transport mechanisms
o Auto-sense, triple media LAN interface automatically detects cable type:
10 BaseT, AUI or Thinnet
o Configuration infomation provided on floppy disk to allow for configuration
at central site priot to installation at remote site
o Lowest cost of any IP router on todays market
o Uses ordinary phone lines to allow users to pay only for what they use
eliminating high leased line charges
o Interal modems makes it unnecessary to buy and configure troublesome
and expensive additional modems
Processor: 386SX
Modem: ROckwell RC96/114AC-P 16550 internal ISA bus with v.32bis/v.42bis/MNP5
Routing Protocol: IP class A, B and C addressing
Protocols: TCP/IP, PPP (RFC 1331, 1332, 1333) with CHAP (MDS) security

The Netblazer uses Digiboard products to increase serial ports. I don't
know of the Digiboards are enhanced by Digi for Telebit in any way
(custom ROM's or PALs) nor if drivers for the Digiboard are included in
the base Netblazer product.
