While I don't know the answer, I'll do my best to say what I think he is asking. diamondtek@mindspring.com (Ken Felix) wrote in <395D6C2F.BE09099B@mindspring.com>: >JCoyne wrote: > >> In English: >> What did he say?? >> >> syco <sycoweb@chez.com> wrote in message >> news:8jhh27$9nc$1@pollux.ip-plus.net... >> > In English : >> > I intended to speak about a possibility of connecting X25 remote >> > stations >> on >> > a central IP Host, by total translation of flows from X25 to IP. >> > One says to me that this functionality would exist well, under term >> > ' TPDU' on MOTOROLA routers (? and lately also on Cisco (!! with >> > name 'TRANSLATE'. He wants to have remote X.25 stations coming into a central IP host via translation of the X.25 into IP in order to attach to the application. He only knows about the XOT on Cisco, which isn't what he needs. As this is not within my knowledge yet, I'll defer to the more knowledgeable in the group, but my initial thoughts are that the remote stations will have to tunnel IP into X.25 for this to work, but perhaps not. >> > >> > >> > -- >> > SYCO >> > de Sycoweb >> > ( BROCANTES DU NORD-EST http://www.chez.com/sycoweb/puces/index.htm >> > ) - Let me Alone but not Forever - >> > >> > > >I think he is asking can x.25 be tunnel thru cisco and motorola and the >answer is yes for both.
